Instead of a professional self, I
have chosen to do something different and have and authentic self. My writing
style, the things I write about and the characters I create are completely out
of the box. So that being said I cannot
create a profession self that is in the box.
It’s just not who I am as a writer and a person. This is why my writing
blog is a little different from other writing blog. I can be just as professional as the next
person without being just like the next person.
I feel as a writer that people who read my work will respect me and my
work more if I present it in a way that is authentic to who I am instead of a
profession self that I am completely unlike.
Blogging about creative fiction writing that breaks free of the cookie cutter characters and story lines. Fiction writing that writes and laughs about the dysfunctional side of life.

Why Creatively Dysfunctional
I have carved this tiny section of the blogging world out
for me and those like me who love to not only write but create those
dysfunctional characters that are more often than not off of our drunk uncle,
bat crazy aunt, or cousin everyone one whispers about (and lets be honest we all have one and if
you like me one of each) in our stories
that make us laugh until we cry and cry until we laugh. They are the characters in our stories and
our real lives that remind us that dysfunction in small doses can be fun.
