There comes a point in my writing
where my characters start to do their own thing, for lack of better
phrasing. It’s the point where the
characters are so developed that you don’t have to tell then what to say
because their personality and their interactions with the other characters tell
you what they are going to say or do next.
But as great as it is as a writer it can be a difficult thing because it
means giving up some of your control as a writer. And lets face it what writer doesn’t like to
be in control of their work. But I have
found that where I do let go I have more fun with what I am writing and I like
the end product more often than not.
